| Let’s congratulate newly-divorced Kelly for the dumbest statement on the entire internet. Yesterday’s gem was just another example of stupid and ridiculously selfish adults using children to fix adult problems. Although we can’t be sure that Stuart Heritage can in any way considered sane, he does raise one of my favorite points by questioning why she got pregnant. As I pointed out in “You Had Sex and a Baby Came Out” women have been taught that having a baby will get them stuff. What stuff? Anything they want! “I have a baby and then I get fame, attention, people caring about me, money, etc……” What’s really interesting here in these articles is Kelly’s bad case of the should’s. Something like “I’m in my late 30’s and IT”S TIME. I should be having kids and having a husband, blah blah blah.” She had the first kid a year before the marriage and got the divorce while pregnant with the second! Is this a mature woman who was deeply invested from the depth of her soul in finding a great man who would be a great husband, companion and father so that her children would be taken care of and loved by two adoring parents who loved and wanted them in a happy home? NO! This chick made a career move and used the kids and the husband as chess pieces. Like I said, “In America kids are a commodity!” No clearer case than here. When she made that utterly ridiculous comment about child abuse: “It’s so hard because it’s hard on the parent that knows that it’s happening and yet can’t seem to stop it – whether it’s through the court system or any other means,” I thought my head was going to fall off or blow up! She’s at a benefit to donate money for abused children and all she can do is slam her ex??????? Of course, because as we all know, KIDS DON’T MATTER to most adults! She had a great opportunity to make a clear strong and useful statement about ending child abuse, and all she can do is natter? So here…. I’ll make up for it: all it takes to stop child abuse is ADULTS BEING COMMITTED TO STOP IT! That’s it. Just commit to knock it off! If we all stopped tolerating it, it would end! |
